• Physical examination reveals enlarged spleen.
• Elevated reticulocyte count.
• Blood smear shows spherocytes.
• Complete blood count shows anemia.
• Osmotic fragility and incubated fragility test.
• Coombs' test - direct is negative.
• Coombs' test - indirect is negative.
• Elevated bilirubin.
• Elevated LDH.
