  • Redness, swelling of the opening of the urethra at tip of the penis

Signs and tests
  • The most common method to diagnose chlamydia is a with a test called PCR, which can detect the organism's genetic material in genital fluids
  • Urethral discharge culture or genital fluid culture can also be performed
