Symptoms

Acute :

  • Skin rash
  • Diarrhea
  • Abnormal liver function test
  • Increased susceptibility to infection

Symptoms usually begin within 2 months after transplantation.

Chronic :

  • Skin rash
  • Dermatitis
  • Hair loss
  • Liver damage
  • Dry eyes and dry mouth
  • Increased susceptibility to infections
  • Possibly lung and gastrointestinal disorders

Chronic symptoms start more than 3 months after transplant.
