Rhytidectomy; Cosmetic surgery of the face

Risks for any anesthesia are:

• reactions to medications
• problems breathing

• bleeding
• infection

• a pocket of blood under the skin (hematoma) that may require drainage
• injury to nerves that control facial muscles (usually temporary)
