The normal range is 0 to 3 ng/ml. Normal value ranges may vary slightly among different laboratories.

Note: ng/ml = nanograms per milliliter

High levels of growth hormone may indicate

• Acromegaly
• Giantism
• Pituitary tumor
• Growth hormone resistance

Low levels of growth hormone may indicate:

• Dwarfism
• Hypopituitarism
